The three-day seminar is our fundamental
arrangement. The idea is to firstly give a wide
overview. It is based on the foundation of Klaus
Ferdinand Hempfling's publications - first and
foremost the books "Dancing with Horses" and "What
Horses Reveal"

According to my teaching undertakings, I certainly
hope, that I can show the participants, based on
extended horse practice, the direct relationship there
is between the horse's feelings and expression in
general and the personal experience of the human
being close to it. With our beginning seminar"Basic
Workshop 1" I try to pick up the participants just from
the point where they are.  With a bunch of practical
examples I try to demonstrate, what is possible even
from the first moment on and where the way may
lead us, once one can find the right beginning.
Advanced seminars (Basic workshops 11 and Basic
workshop 111) may then step by step prepare horses
and participants for the collected signal riding with
loose reins, like I have described and verified in
books and films.

This three-day workshop will have a maximum
number of 60 participants, seven of them may
participate with their horses. The primary focus is
how a change in the relationship to the horse is
achieved through the person's own view of approach.
It is about seeing the horse in its real appearance
and as a mirror and medium for the human's
individual reflection and development.

During these three days, Klaus will work with the
seven participants and their horses. First he will
carefully establish the starting point for each horse
and his owner. The principle aim is then to
strengthen the understanding of how different
situations and obstacles can be better recognized
and be carefully overcome.

It is important to realize the frame of all the
possibilities of both, horse and human more
precisely. Fundamental exercises together with all
participants and general explanations before and in
between the work with the horses create an
important foundation. The purpose is to draw the
attention to the contexts. It depends on the ability of a
person, to lead himself to his own development.

On the first day of the Basic Workshop 1 there is also
the opportunity for non-participating spectators to
attend. They can observe how Klaus is finding the
key for a real contact with (for him) 4 or 5 completely
unknown horses. They get a first look at Klaus's way
to approach horses, and a better understanding of
how different situations and obstacles with horses
are recognized and carefully overcome. They can
take home the experience of how Klaus is finding the
starting point of the horses and how the next steps
will be found. The second and third day will be for
participants only.
